It's Been A While...But I'm Still Here!

My computer crashed. It was a sad day. It was inevitable though...the computer was about 7 years old. I am currently using my laptop, which I do NOT enjoy. Chris is going to build me a new one, I just haven't let him yet. I hate to spend money on electronics for some reason.

Our floors are almost done. We only have the foyer and the hallway to do. They look so good, and I love them. We have to buy a rug so little Logann can get down and learn how to crawl! I am so ready to have my house back to normal...no boxes of wood, tools, and mess!

A lot has happened since my last post. My summer has come to an end. It went by much too quickly! I took Matthew back to the drive-in on my last week off. Matthew and Logann loved VBS (especially Matthew!) Matthew and Logann started back to school, which afforded me two whole days to myself. I ate lunch with a friend, went shopping, and got a pedicure! It was wonderful. Chris and I took both children swimming last weekend, and now we are all not feeling well.

The 31st was my first official day back at school. I met my students on the 3rd, and had my first day with the students on the 5th. Let me just say...I LOVE my class. They are so precious, all 17 of them! I hope that the rest of my year goes as well as the first three days have.

I do have to admit, I miss Matthew and Logann quite terribly. At the end of the summer, I was really ready for a break. You know, some time for myself. I do not love leaving my babies. Matthew loves his new class and his new teacher though. Logann seems to like her class, too, but it just hurts my heart to leave her.

My brother is leaving for Knoxville next weekend. How can it be? I am so proud of my brother and the person he is. I don't get to see him all too often, but I am really going to miss him just being around. I know he will do great!

I had dinner with an old friend the other night. We had lots to discuss. It was a good time. There are several friends that I am missing right now, and hope that I can reconnect with soon. Life just gets busy and time just gets away from you.

Hopefully, time won't get too far away from me, and it won't be so long until I post again!
